According to the article, JPMorgan Chase, the largest bank in the United States, has given employees in its asset and wealth management division access to a complex language model known as LLM Suite. This program helps staff workers with duties including writing, idea generating, and document summarisation. The Financial Times cited an internal document for this information.

The installation of the LLM Suite began earlier this year in select areas of the bank. According to sources acquainted with the circumstances mentioned in the paper, about 50,000 employees now have access to this advanced artificial intelligence tool.

In a comparable initiative, rival US financial bank Morgan Stanley teamed with OpenAI to build a GenAI-powered chatbot in September 2018. This chatbot allows financial advisors to quickly access Morgan Stanley's broad intellectual resources.

When asked for a statement about the report, JPMorgan declined to comment.
