Samsung Electronics Acquires Majority Stake in South Korea's Rainbow Robotics

South Korea's Rainbow Robotics announced that Samsung Electronics has become its largest shareholder.

Samsung, having previously invested in the robotics company, has now acquired a 267 billion won (US$181 million) stake in Rainbow Robotics. This move signifies Samsung's deepening interest in the robotics sector.


As part of the acquisition, Samsung is setting up a dedicated Future Robotics Office that will report directly to the CEO.
